How to use the templates
Unzip the file, import the HTML into sevdesk, then adjust logo and colors, in four steps.

Unzip the archive
The folder “Vorlagen für sevdesk” contains the HTML files to import, such as rechnung-vorlage.html. PDF and image previews are for viewing only.

Import into sevdesk
Open sevdesk → Settings → Document templates. Import the matching HTML file for each document type: invoice, quote, reminder, and the other documents one by one.

Customize & use
Select the imported template in the editor. Set logo, colors, and text blocks in sevdesk. Save, then create your first document.
Custom layouts in sevdesk
Templates and layouts in sevdesk determine how your documents such as invoices, quotes, or delivery notes look. A template (often also called a sample, layout, or design) defines where the logo, address, line items, and totals sit in the document, and which design the PDF gets. sevdesk itself offers a small selection of layouts, which can be extended with an add-on.
We were not happy with this selection of layouts from sevdesk, so we built a template ourselves. With our know-how we have now created many more designs, which you will find here in the shop. You can try the different samples easily and see for yourself how your documents look in the various designs. We hope you enjoy it!

How do I import a document template into sevdesk?
In sevdesk Cloud, open Settings → Document templates. Choose the document type (for example Invoice) and click Import. Upload the matching HTML file from the “Vorlagen für sevdesk” folder, such as rechnung-vorlage.html. Repeat the import for each document type you use. Then select the template in the editor, adjust logo and colors, and save it.
Which files from the ZIP do I import?
Only the HTML files in the “Vorlagen für sevdesk” folder. Typical filenames are rechnung-vorlage.html, angebot-vorlage.html, mahnung-vorlage.html, auftragsbestätigung-vorlage.html, lieferschein-vorlage.html, brief-vorlage.html, and gutschrift-vorlage.html. The “PDF Vorschau” and “Bild Vorschau” folders are previews only. sevdesk will not import a template from those files.
Can I try the template in sevdesk before buying?
Yes. Every product page has a design preview and a free demo ZIP. Unzip the demo and import the HTML files the same way as the paid version, under Settings → Document templates. That lets you check layout, address field, and features in your own sevdesk account before you purchase.
Which document types are included in a template?
Each design pack includes matching layouts for invoice, payment reminder, quote, order confirmation, delivery note, letter, and credit note. You buy one design for all of these documents, not individual document types.
Can I change the logo, colors, and text blocks myself?
Yes. After import, the templates work like sevdesk’s default templates: upload a logo, change the color, edit text blocks, and show or hide individual fields. You do not need to edit HTML.
Are the templates DIN 5008 compatible for window envelopes?
Yes. The layouts follow DIN 5008 Form B. The recipient address sits in the window area of standard DIN long envelopes with a window.
Is Sevdesk Templates an official sevdesk product?
No. Sevdesk Templates is an independent shop and is not affiliated with sevdesk GmbH. The files are standalone HTML document templates for the current sevdesk Cloud.
What does a template cost? Is there a subscription?
Each template costs a one-time €12.90. There is no layout subscription and no recurring fee for the design. After purchase you can use the template in sevdesk without a time limit.
How do I download the template again after purchase?
After payment, the ZIP is ready immediately on the success page. You also receive an email with a link to the same page, so you can download the template again later.
Which payment methods are accepted, and will I get an invoice?
Payment is processed by Stripe. At checkout you see the methods available in your country: typically Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, plus Apple Pay or Google Pay. Stripe emails you an invoice automatically; the sender may appear as “Link”.
What if import fails or a field is missing?
First check that you selected an HTML file from “Vorlagen für sevdesk”, not a PDF. If a field is missing after import (for example the date), contact us via the support form. We will help with the import or send a corrected file.
Regardless of the statutory withdrawal right for digital purchases (which usually ends once you download), we offer a voluntary 30-day money-back guarantee if the template is not a fit or import still fails after support.
Can I order a fully custom layout?
Yes. You set logo and colors in sevdesk yourself. If you need a different layout (another structure, typography, or letterhead), we design a bespoke sevdesk template.
